Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Moscow has not ruled out a trilateral meeting between the presidents of Russia, the U.S. and China, according to the Russian state news agency, TASS.
“Even mentioning the possibility of such a meeting has already gained the interest among the European leading politicians, although the actual preparations for the meeting hasn’t started yet, and it is necessary to specify first what its agenda would be,” Ryabkov said.
Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping may hold a trilateral meeting at the next Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in November.
