Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian has stated that it is time to end the war with the United States, as Tehran is currently in a strong position to reach a lasting peace agreement.
“It is better to end the war now, when we are in a strong and dignified position, so that the whole world recognizes our victory and acknowledges that the United States attacked our schools, hospitals, and infrastructure, violating every rule, and that they are hated around the world,” the Iranian president said at a meeting.
His remarks came after Iran’s Foreign Ministry accused the United States of “economic terrorism” and “crimes against humanity.”
“Those responsible for and instigators of these sanctions deserve to be brought to justice and punished for committing such heinous crimes,” the Foreign Ministry said.
